2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is a specific type of multi-factor authentication (MFA) that strengthens access security by requiring two methods (also referred to as authentication factors) to verify your identity.
How to set up 2FA?
Upon the first login, the system will automatically ask you to set up your 2FA.
Go to the login page of the Bitpace Merchant Panel.
Enter your email and password.
A screen will be displayed for the 2FA set-up.
Use an authenticator app to set up the 2FA manually or scan the QR code from the screen.
Input the 6-digit code and click on the "Enable 2FA" button.
You will be asked to input the 6-digit 2FA code for every login.
How to reset the 2FA?
The 2FA reset is not self-service.
Enter your email and password on the login page.
On the 2FA step, click on the "reset here" button.
This will send us an automatic email, and you will receive an email stating that your request has been received.
The 2FA reset process is strictly executed with an Admin or Super User to ensure the security of the Merchant account.
The Admin or Super User must contact us to complete the 2FA reset process.
We strongly recommend getting in touch with your Admin/Super User and requesting for them to contact us. With the help of our team, the Admin user will need to go through a standard authentication. After the successful passing of the authentication, the 2FA will be reset, and your Admin can inform you accordingly.
